Passion MSX

Django, our strenious translator of RPG's and simulation games, has sent us the 2nd version of his partial translation for this excellent game published in 1990 by Koei.

Contrary to a 1st version that had display problems, this 2nd version works without any problem and comes with an help file in French, a save state on tape and the English translation of the story (available on the disk version of the game).

If your preferred emulator does not recognize the ROM, insert it manually and precise the mapper type (Koei).

Superbes graphismes de Koei !

Hélas, reste pour ma part de trouver comment aller au-delà de la validation du nom, dans l'un de ces fameux fichier d'aide, qui ne donnent aucune information aux débutants.

Pour jouer, utilisez de préférence le pavé numérique.
sinon U=gauche(ou baisser) O=droite(ou augmenter)
Touches utiles:
Entrée = valider

I'm always happy with those Japanese to English translations at the msx scene. Late 80's and early 90's were full of those rpg/adventure games, where text is a major part of the game, making them impossible for 99% of the ocidental world.

Another thing that I really would like to see is translated roms from original msx models. I would just love to be able to use my A1ST or A1F original embedded programs!
How hard it would be? Conversion plus recording new ROM sets?
