[ENG] Make your own boxes for Konami games

We are again gathered together for another do-it-yourself session; this time, we'll try to resolve the problem of the loose cartridges, we need to give them a decent dressing. There was a time as passionned collector, I was patiently waiting for a rare pearl (especially from Konami) in his box, but many of our preferred games are too often selled as loose cartridges, they are completely uncovered ...sniff...

See this cartridge, it looks so bad, alone in the corner, just like a barbie without her princess dress.

All her friends in box with manual are laughing cheerfully at our poor loose little cartridge. We need to say it should not be a very good idea to put it on this shelf with your other finds, isn't it ?!

To fix that, I propose to use your hands, create yourself your own boxes and place your cartridges in these boxes !! It's advised to follow the below scheme, it has been made by a great industrial designer. You will this way build a box with the "European" Konami sizes, as for example the Metal Gear model.

**Grey parts need to be glued after the box has been folded.**

For a better box stiffness and more likeness with the original box, I recommend to use bright photo paper 290gr/m².

Here's the result after some little time; not bad for an artisan's work, isn't it !? It looks like the real box !! To stiffen it even more, you can cut out in a polystyrene plate a rectangle to place the cartridge in the same way than the plastic support of the Konami games.

Once you have reached this look, you can place the cartridge on your shelf without any complex, the other boxes will surely be very jealous.
